Baseball - natty of course

basketball - Gary Ervin’s return, booing his *** every time he touched the ball was a wonderful experience

Until we win the SEC - nothing will top Auburn 2014.

Basketball - Most fun basketball game was when Mario Austin hit that 3 versus Kentucky to take it to OT and State won in OT.

Baseball - Virginia in the CWS

The SEC Tournament Championship Game against Kentucky in 1996. Best $5 I ever spent (thanks USCe fans)!

14 auburn has already been mentioned.

One I hold dear is 2010 Gator. Prior years of football hell to come in and roll Michigan like they were Mississippi Valley. The fans that week made it the most fun. Everyone was blowing off the prior suckage steam.

1998 Arkansas football game for me. One of our most dramatic wins ever with essentially a berth in the SEC championship game at stake. I just remember leaving that game emotionally drained from yelling and stomping on bleachers.

can't remember the year but for me it was beating Bama in Tuscaloosa. We also beat Auburn and UAB that same year ... JJ was still toting the rock then, I think it was his last year. I remember trying to get my drunk buddy out of there without either of us getting our asses kicked - those folks were mad and my buddy just kept hollering ALABAMA STATE CHAMPIONS and ringing the bell ... I couldn't shut him up and finally quit trying but we did get out safely

This. Was awesome as the UK aristocrats filed out the dome before the game was over. I left with a “You can’t get to New York from Starkville” sign.

Baseball: Didn't make Omaha so I'd say game 3 vs. Stanford because of Mangum's and Mac's last at-bats in Dudy Noble.

Football: Auburn 2014

Basketball: Cincinnati at Rupp Arena 1996

1999 Egg Bowl. It took a lot of effort to get there, and I regretted it for the first 58 minutes, but eventually it was the most electric I had ever seen Scott Field.

2014 Auburn: Obvious
2011 Gator Bowl: thrashing Michigan was so much fun.
2021 TAMU: my first true road game win. I’d been through some rough road games. 2011 Auburn, 2012/2014 Egg Bowl, 2021 Memphis. It was great to finally get the monkey off my back and see a road win in person

2014 Auburn
2007 Bama - Lived in Columbus at the time and was entering the Starkville city limits, with no time to spare, when I realized we forgot the tickets. Almost said screw it and stayed home. Decided to go back and got to our seats just in time to watch Anthony Johnson return the pick six. Good decision.

This one is mine too. There was a student Ole Miss fan next to us who was talking crap for 55 minutes of the game. He got quiet and depressed after 60 minutes.

Until we win the SEC - nothing will top Auburn 2014.

This is right but the two games leading into that one- LSU in BR and TAMU at home- were pretty dang sweet too. They just get lost in the shuffle to the Auburn game, and rightfully so, but they are up there for me as far as great experiences.

Random *** game here: 2004 against Georgia in basketball. We went on something like a 14-0 run to start the game, and just beat their asses. Remember just being really, really happy watching that game and then getting back to the apartment and seeing the highlights on Sportscenter. Hell, even the Big Feces had a good game. This was when I really started believing that team would be something special.

My sample size is smaller than many on the board, but I've been around long enough to catch lightning in a bottle a few times

1996 Basketball Regional in Lexington - Sweet 16 upset of UConn and the Elite 8 game vs. Cincinnati to send us to the Final Four
2021 Auburn football - I told myself if Auburn scored first after halftime, I was leaving. Y'all know the rest of the story. I sat in the MSU section but tailgated with a bunch of Auburn grads. I got back to the tailgate long after the game and said "Ya'll back already?"
1998 SEC Championship Game - Not the ending we wanted, but was a blast until the last few minutes

That game was exceptionally sweet ... It was (maybe home opener) a record home crowd due to a newly expanded Tiger Stadium ... that was nearly empty by the start of the 4th qtr

Football: 2014 or 2021 auburn

Baseball: sweeping #1 Florida in 2018 was amazing considering we went from not even in the SEC tournament to a #2 seed in the NCAA

W Basketball: 2017 final four vs UConn is still maybe my favorite memory even with the national championship.

M basketball: 2017 Texas A&M. Great crowd. Started out down 10-0. Came all the way back and beat a team that we all thought was quality. Either that game or selection Sunday 2019

2014 Auburn and the whole Stanford Super Regional are mine and maybe the final Notre Dame Super game. I have no damns, *****, or fvcks to give about basketball. I would add the Michigan Gator Bowl win in there too, it was awesome to see that bunch of jersey wearing Yankees walk out of there stunned that little ole MSU had just given them their worst ever bowl loss. All I heard that week from them was how great that Denard Robinson was and he would run up and down the field on us w/ those dumb *** untied shoes.

Basketball- @ the Hump when Mario hit the 3 to send it to OT. We beat UK & Prince "what's his 17".
Football- @ LSU in 2020 when the Pirate beat Coach O. It was outstanding!

Football: 2014 Auburn, A&M was pretty sweet that year too. Beating the hell out of LSU in 2017 was awesome and unexpected. I told my son - who was 7 at the time, that he may not see us dominate LSU like that again in his lifetime.

Baseball: I've only been able to attend a handful of games each year, but scored tickets to the regionals and supers last year. Then went to Omaha for the first week. I had to miss the finals, but it will be hard for anything to ever top that string of games over 3 weeks.

Basketball: 2009 SEC championship game vs Tenn. Wife and I had vacation planned in Florida over spring break in 2009 when we won the SECT in Tampa. I never dreamed of us making the championship game so the thought didn't even cross my mind till that Saturday, then we beat LSU and I had to change our plans.

Football:
1980 Alabama game 6-3 - I was young and unaware of the dead injuns, but you could feel it. Even at the end of the game when Alabama finally put a drive together you knew we were going to keep them out. That was old school football at its very best. They'll never be another game like that.

1992 Florida game 30-6 - Beating Spurrier and intercepting their Heisman contender Shane Matthews 5 times in a nationally televised game. Sweet!

1999 Egg Bowl - that game was ridiculous. Came so close to walking out early. Glad I didn't.

2007 Alabama - day game in the Croom era, nevertheless one of the most enjoyable for me.

2016 Texas A&M - Fitzgerald was so fun to watch that year and A&M was a top five team that day.

Chris Relf beating Ole Miss - all the damn time.

This thread is more fun

2014 Auburn is tops. Only time I’ve ever sat in the upper deck. Walking down the ramp post game knowing we would be #1 in the country. Glad I had that long walk.

2014 @ LSU
2010 @ Florida. We gave urban a heart attack

Football - 2000 Florida (was convinced we were winning it all after that game)

Baseball - Clemson Super Regional W (you can see me on the field post-game just before ESPN ended the coverage)

Basketball - 02 Kentucky game when Mario hit the 3 (also convinced we were winning it all that season)

Note - I moved out of state with a job that didn't allow much weekend travel hence nothing after 2007 on the list

2010 Gator Bowl
1998 vs Alabama with my dad cheering on JJ to the tune of over 230 yards

Baseball:

2000 Starkville regional vs Notre Dame
2019 super regional vs Stanford

Definitely 2004 men’s basketball at Alabama when we came back from down 16 to beat Bama and win the SEC title. Timmy Bowers buzzer beater to send it to OT and another buzzer beater to win it. I was covering the game for The Reflector and was sitting on press row by the side of the court. When Bowers hit his shot at the end, I lost my ****, stood up and started cheering, violating all the media impartiality rules. It made the speeding ticket I got in Gordo on the way to the game totally worth it.

Honorable mention,The Piss and the Miss. Me and my wife took our three daughters to their first Egg Bowl, and what a first one to take them to. Right before he kicked it, I told my wife that if there is any justice in this world, he’ll miss. And he did. Karma is alive and well.

That first Gator Bowl was special -- the whole trip, the game, the sense of hope for the future.

Sigh.

A good friend of mine was at the Auburn comeback game with the Matt Wyatt to Matthew Butler TD. He lives in Alabama and said to this day, was the sweetest win due to a$$hole barner fans. The State fans there partied hard that night.

I have to say the LSU game with Dak at Tiger Stadium was one of my all time favorites. That was one of the most inspiring wins I've ever seen.

1963, upset no. 5 Auburn in Jackson. Great win.

Burke Masters 1990.

Beat no. 5 Fla under Spurrier in 2000. Ran for almost 400 yards.
