If Florida wins, they automatically host. I think we host if we win our regional and Miami or Jacksonville wins theirs.

...over a #3 seed from their paired regional, unless the higher-seeded team's bid to host is faulty in any way. In your case, 2-seed Miami would bea very experienced and worthy host. Your only hope is if 3-seed JU wins in Gainesville, because you would definitely host over the Dolphins.

But we both were 2 seeds. However, that same year Oregon State was a 3 and hosted over 2 seed Michigan.

I assume Miami will submit a bid to host a super regional should they beat Florida. In that case, I'm pretty sure them as a 2 seed would host over us as a 3 seed.
