Definitely. This at least makes sense. Having attractive athletes in a
sports illustrated swimwear issue makes much more sense than obese people or old people. Hell, it probably makes more sense than the original approach, and maybe actually has a chance to be a commercial success. I have sort of learned that while men may not be cleat chasers exactly to the extent some women can be, there are apparently a good number of men who take athletic success into account when judging attractiveness. I don't think any male talks about caitlyn clark being attractive without the cleat chaser effect, so maybe SI can actually sell swimsuit editions if they use the most attractive female athletes.
