What was our jello shot record last year in Omaha at Rocco's?

An Arkansas fan rented out the entire bar all yesterday afternoon for Arkansas fans only. Ole Miss got over 2000 last night too at one point after the Arkansas fans left, My guess is one Ole Miss fan bought a 1000 jello shots just to get them back into contention.
The only way the Jello shot record should be official is if you hit the number AND win the championship on the field.
Anything less is a plastic victory and means absolutely zero.

It’s really amazing to me that people care about this. Of all the things to brag about.
This new record will have an asterisk. I have a reliable source telling me Rocco’s ran out of Jello brand gelatin and is now using Great Value brand gelatin. Thus, not a true “Jell-O shot” any longer. Sorry, Hogs. The record is still ours.
I saw something similar at Rum Runner’s in the Sandestin Resort Baytown Wharf many summers ago. They had some band up there playing and they would declare, as an example, “This is an Alabama Crimson Tide Bar!!!!” and then play the Alabama fight song for a small $50 fee. And oh, you want this to be an LSU bar? Then pool some money from your group and give us $75, and now we will forget that whole Bama bar thing and play your fight song into our program. They just raked money in all night from drunk SEC fans trying to “win” this.
I'm guessing any bottom shelf vodka would do the trick. Top it off with Great Value Jello and the cost is mainly in the cup.
That may have been a running gig from them because they did it when I was there one time too. Don't think they were asking for progressive tips. I think basically they'd switch back and forth for $20 or $25. This was probably 15 years ago. Saw them make probably $125 in ten minutes flipping back and forth between rocky top and Bama. Left because it was annoying as ****. I'd have been a little pissed if I was the owners. We couldn't have been the only people that went elsewhere because they wanted to hear something besides fight songs.
also did you see they have a sign by the leaderboard that says $20 minimum on all credit card purchases there? That almost guarantees 4 shots <$4.50 x 4 = $18> and a tip of $2 every single time.

To each his own. If anyone wants to buy 2 oz non-alcoholic “beverages” at $4 a pop, that’s their business.
Do the math on that:
1.75 L = 1,750 mL
1.750 mL / 150 shots = 11.67 mL per shot
1 fl oz = 29.57mL
So, that’s a little over 1/3 of an ounce of liquor in one shot, and more appropriately less than 1/4 of the standard amount of 1.5 oz in a standard shot or mixed drink. And that’s assuming they are actually following the recipe…..knowing damn well when they get crowded, it gets later at night, or when supplies start running short they will probably be putting 1/2 or 1/4 the prescribed amount of liquor (not like anyone is going to know the difference). You’re paying out the *** for 2 oz of semi-solid sugar water.
