There is nothing more than simple speculation and a few bold cb9 type predictions. They seem to not be too worried about the qb situation without newton. I am by no means acquainted with Auburn's roster of backup quarterbacks, but one poll asked who would be starting and there were like six names, so there will be competition.
The train of thought over there seems to be that they are willing to give him a chance *despite* his past transgressions. Of course, they will be ecstatic to pull him, but what I have been reading is they are kind of lukewarm towards the situation. I guess this attitude comes with being middle tier SEC as opposed to lower tier SEC, such as the case here.
There may be some major claims of Newton committing, but I have not seen them.
