I’m interested in your opinion regarding peanut butter and chocolate. Either combined or separate, an aversion to those two basic staples of life would be truly disturbing .

Hmmmmm…….. Reese’s are my favorite candy and I do like peanut butter M&Ms. At Christmas time I can gorge on buckeyes, so I guess I like them together. Other than that, I don’t really eat peanut butter though I did used to eat a peanut butter sandwich every day for lunch from about 2nd-5th grade. Never have had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich though. I don’t like jelly. And I’m not a big chocolate guy either.

Well, 2 weeks shy of 72, I revel in my current cultural ignorance. Don’t know or care who the “stars” are, the music stinks, have no use for social media and never understood the tat phenomena. More than nominal but less than devout Catholic whose only hope is the mercy of the Lord when my time is up. Still can’t understand why PSU stabbed Joe in the back and can’t forgive them for doing so. Notre Dame fan, too bad if you don’t like it. Like the Beatles but never listen anymore, I prefer The Who, and, finally, my favorite guitar players are Chet Atkins, Tommy Emmanuel, and Pete Townsend.

I’m not an authority on the subject but I think the Beatles were a group in the truest sense of the word. They were committed to writing, recording and performing the best songs ever written. Just listen to the lyrics and melody in their songs. Also, if your looking to see who was more talented then I suggest looking at their solo careers.

Loved the Kinks, all those 70s albums - starting with Arthur to Lola.., Muswell Hillbillies... That Old Demon Alcohol is still my favorite "imbibing" song.....

Current pop culture - don’t get the fascination with Stranger Things. I really wanted to like it considering its nostalgic backdrop in a time when I grew up, but it just isn’t personally gripping the way it is for so many.

Also, despite a few enjoyable ventures, Disney is slowly but surely killing Star Wars.
