Though I have mixed emotions about them coming into the SEC, I probably would oppose them, in the end. That probably makes them a "slam dunk" to get in. LOL. If it was up to me, clemson would figuratively twist slowly....slowly in the wind. When the dust settles do you think Clemson will be in the SEC?
Wise move by the Big 12.This is happening at a dizzying pace.

The Big 12 is aiming to maintain its positioning as a power conference while expanding its footprint to a key marketwww.cbssports.com
Is not the ACC exit fee astronomical? I would believe that the ACC must first disintegrate for clemson, FSU and Miami to join another conference.Hey ! Who's up for another rumor.
It goes like this, UF and USCe are negotiating divisions so when the SEC extends the formal invite to Clemson, FSU & Miami, those games would not
count as a division loss.
I am not owning this, just passing along something I read.
That would make sense. Adding the Texas market should result in an astronomical TV package for the SEC. Adding teams beyond 16 would not be much accretive beyond what the new 16-team SEC would be.From sources I have spoken with at this time the SEC is going to stand at 16 teams.
Well to answer your question, No but Yes. Initially it appears very high, but through legal maneuvering the initial amount can be negotiated based on projected TV appearances and monies earned. It takes 2 to negotiate. I'm not sure that the ACC has much incentive to negotiate to lose schools, especially those in the Sunshine State.Well to answer your question, No but Yes. Not so fast. We will see that door slam so hard it will knock out their teeth.Clemson is going to join the SEC. No question about it.
