I know optimism is frowned upon on here but there's not a team out there that we can't beat this year. There, I said it.

This I believe to be true. A taunting foul and an overturned fumble says so.
Tennessee vs Georgia and Indiana vs Ohio State can change the landscape quickly.
On the other hand. Counting ones chickens (PSU wise) is a fools habit.
While I will acknowledge that outside of an outbreak of cholera, PSU will beat Purdue and Maryland......Minnesota, off a bye is lurking.
That place has been a house of horrors and despite fans choosing to dislike Fleck....he can coach.
Depending on the status of Singleton, PSU could be razor thin at RB.
I seem to recall losing 2 for the season by the first series of downs a few years back.
I am most concerned with what would happen with pass protection (blitz pickup), if a freshman running back must be relied upon. People often don't account for this and it may be the most difficult and important skill to learn for a college RB.
I'll start to worry about if PSU will be in the tournament and what their seed is after they (hopefully) defeat Minnesota.

As I noted in another thread, Rutgers did beat them. Like you, I do worry a bit about that game.
