Who should be the 4-seed?

With the 12 participants pretty straightforward, this is the most consequential debate. The team that wins the argument gets the bye. The loser of the argument travels to the campus of a top-4 team.
Boise State by a mile. Zero bad losses and beat Top 20 10-win UNLV team twice, beat an 8-win Washington State, only loss to the #1 team in the country on the road by on a last second FG. Would literally be the #1 seed if a couple plays go differently in that Oregon game.
Arizona State’s loss to 5-7 Cincinnati is horrid….maybe the worst loss of any team in the field and, at best, the 2nd worst (if you think ND’s loss to 7-5 NIL is worse), and their loss to unranked Texas Tech was pretty bad too. Record worse than BSU, SOS not much better / almost the same (72 vs. 82), worse losses, best wins aren’t any better than BSU’s.
And most importantly….they are already 5 spots back of them in the rankings and didn’t get any kind of resume bump from their title game that BSU didn’t also get. Literally nothing you can point in ASU’s direction here.
