This night was the first I ever really watched any wrestling and it was so exciting. Got me hooked and I watch our team anytime they are on tv (not the pay streaming). I guess Bo made me a fan

Last I checked (Jan. 6, 2023), 90 schools in PA had committed to starting a girl's program. As a reminder, the PIAA had indicated that they would begin holding PIAA Girls Wrestling Championships once the threshold of 100 teams had been met in the sport. So what's happened in the past month?
Continuing from my prior post:
WOW ... only 2 more schools to go to meet the threshold. It's also nice to see a few Dis. 1 schools jumping in. There are a surprising (to me) number of girls at the youth level that are wrestling. This morning I reffed a youth quad match that involved Upper Perk youth wrestling, and there were quite a few girls in their program.
When the PIAA set the 100 school threshold, I thought it might take a few years (or more) to meet that number. Now, it seems as though it's almost a certainty that there will be a PIAA Girls Wrestling State Championship in 2024.
