Will Wade going back to LSU?

Not sure how common that is. I can't ever remembering that happening before.
NC State not even a lil brother, they're 3rd wheel.
Both schools insiders seem to think so. From what I read LSU is waiting till April when his buyout is lower.

Looking at college basketball today it's funny to think back at all the outrage over his strong *** offer.
Wade talked so much **** in the offseason to hype up State fans. All he gave them was a bubble team whose only good win was a home win over UNC when Veesaar and Wilson were both out.
I've just been reading the biggest State board and their fans are pissed. And it may not even happen. He may stay at State. But he's effectively already lost the hardcore fans.

Not saying he isn't but what else is there I don't know about other than them paying players ? Is there something besides the strong *** off thing?
All the high and mighty folk can't get their brains past will wade being successful at a big time program with the right backing. I could see it. Yes, there are most likely probably better and more capable candidates. Maybe he's not an realistic option but backing Pope because hes a good dude is asinine. Pope is in heaven here at UK because he probably honestly never even imagined being hired here. He's just not worthy of the position, sorry if that upsets some of you

Will Wade, if ultimately back at LSU, is going to beat Mark Pope next year if and when we meet them
Probably should go on and fire McMahon. What a terrible situation for the guy. Hope he has a decent buyout.

You know, I've heard talk about how good of a coach Wade is for a few years now but I've never really seen anything that jumped out at me and made me think "Oh, yeah that guy can coach." That said, I've not followed Wade's career closely. It's just that he stands out to me as a guy I hear talk about but never got the vibe from watching his teams play.
His best seasons were:
Virginia Commonwealth, 2016-17: 26-9
LSU, 2018-19: 25-5
McNeese 2023-24: 22-2 (suspended the first 10 games)
McNeese, 2024-25: 28-7
He's had three seasons, where he coached the whole season, of less than ten losses, out of 12 seasons. He's also had a ton of issues off the court. He kind of seems like a scumbag to me.
I wouldn't take him.
It doesn’t have to be a failure. Just has to be average by UK standards. If he isn’t winning the sec or the sect or making a ff run he’s Gone. We will have an ad in place and boosters will be ready to show pope the door or even fly him back out west.
