Certain images are forever etched in history - its great when just an average person/persons can be part of that history.

I've mentioned before that I was asked to go to Woodstock by a friend but turned him down. In hindsight I sometimes wonder if my life would have been different had I gone.

I will note here that I have long been a poet of some local renown and one of my offerings was of sufficient quality to appear in a national publication. At the behest of my wife I will not provide more details because that work has my name attached to it. I have written many hundreds of poems through the years and have yet to make a dime on any of them, but they have brought joy to Mrs. Gambit and that is sufficient reward.
