so that's why we did that topic yesterday to get more ideas. Like or dislike? I think he did a great job.

Would HD6 buy one or wear one if purchased for him? I couldn't imagine he would since Peaches is on the same shirt. We know that being in the same place with 34 causes his period to start immediately.

First, Ithink it'd work better if the word cloudwas made up entirely of catchphrases and frequently used non-username words.

Secondary thought-- Instead of repeating the use of the 1941 helmet on the front pocket (which is also used in the back), how about a daffodil or two? (I'd really prefer the Bulldog from Bulldog Strong Ale, but that might be a no-go so the daffodils might be used.

Third thought-- Whither 17?

Excellent job, BMT.

I thought about that... Decided to combine common phrases and posters with the highest post count (see, post count does mean something)

I also thought about using something different on the front instead of the helmet. The reality is a flower is hard to translate into a 2 color 2D design. The bulldog from the bulldog strong ale would be great but again, very hard to make a 2 color 2D representation that id feel proud to put on a tshirt.

I honestly meant to get "Rule 17" in there somewhere but quickly ran out of space.

As far as the HD6 thing goes... It would be no problem for me to replace him with another deserving poster (or two). Ill let DS make that call.

With the exception of "Peaches" (and I would put only that on the shirt instead of "Coach34"), none of them appear as common phrases used in posts. Some phrases are too often used over the entire intarwebs (e.g. THIS) to be unique to SPS.

I'd buy one if it had more of the common phrases and less usernames. Seems like it's well over half usernames.

Peaches is pretty much the only name i would want on there, and thats because its a commonly used nickname for a poster, and not the username itself.

I like the 'This is our interwebs' and the 'abandon all hope' phrases.
Peeping Crooms is a must, as well as mentioningthe douche of the year award.

Somesort ofsimple McClurian math reference would be funny(to a very very very limited few in this world, but 17it).

and A loss will be good for us in the long run - probably too long for a t shirt.

all of them were good. Even if they are not unique to SPS - THIS is still used a lot. I would even consider puting ^^^THIS^^^

Edit to pick my favorites: 17, Peaches, **, [redacted], Cristal, Soccer Post, Meyer (sp), IT, shortbus, Ninja

many, many strong posters are missing. But BMT explained he was just going on post count.

This is why I think DS's suggestion is correct. Take the poster names off and go with the phrases.

I would vote to keep HD6 on it just to piss him off.

Back of the shirt Catchphrase to Go: 1941 Helmet --- Replaced by: 17

Usernames
KeepPeaches (which has been noted is not a name)
Add: JackAtShelter (while he has a low post count, he deserves some recognition for the Trent Lott and Doc news) and This is Saddawg Speaking
Goes: Everyone else.

Edit to add: Misspell a word on purpose-- like say 'Mississppi'

So unless you want to deal with my agent (he's a member of The Tribe, Shmul- you'd like him) and are prepared to give me a fat, shiny nickel from each one, it'd just be easier to leave me off.

I suggest the some part of the phrase "from my INSIDER SOURCES" that precedes 90% of the horribly incorrect rumors.

I wouldn't buy one with the user names. Love the look though. Just the thought of wearing around some dudes names creeps me out.

Gotta have misspelled Mississppi on there.

Dubmass
Your and idiot
I would keep The Godfather (DS deserves some credit here)

Motion
Ninja or Grasshopper (let's let Scott have this one since he's still here)

I thought it was "Your and idiot", and "Dubmass *****". I don't think they were the same quote.

Although not as popular, I still find it funny. Inremembrance of Leslie Nielson.
