Michigan State gets my vote. Their variety of horrible looking unis are especially ugly when you compare them to the iconic uniforms the once wore before all the nonsense.
I actually do not think they are that bad.Iowa's were pretty bad several years ago

PSU's throwbacks are almost exactly what we already have. I wouldn't mind seeing the pink and navy of old, especially in support of breast cancer awareness. To be sure, I don't like throwbacks at all but if we've got to conform to some weird marketing initiative, I like the pink.
And use any alternatives VERY sparingly.Pink and Navy/Black just looks weird; not a fan. And Oregon already did it.

If I'm in charge I add navy pants to go with the navy shirts, add numbers to the helmets, and go with grey facemasks as an alternative.
And use any alternatives VERY sparingly.
FWIW: I'd consider simply wearing the All Whites for the home white out game.
The fact that it would also lend a tactical advantage - tough for opposing QBs to pick up defenders in the sea of white background - would be an added bonus.
This would be great. Need black pants though.Pink and Navy/Black just looks weird; not a fan. And Oregon already did it.

Wouldn't that make it just as hard for a QB to pick up his receiver - in a sea of white? And use any alternatives VERY sparingly.

You can't just decide to wear white at home-- you have to get it approved by the other team.
Numbers on the helmets? Crazy idea!I actually do not think they are that bad.
Without doubt the Penn State alternatives are awful. White shoes? Stripes everywhere? Numbers on the helmets? They look like someone wrote dumb ideas down on paper, put them in a jar, and then pulled a few out to design the alternative uniform. I am surprise we do not see pink and the chipmunk logo on the helmets!
Couple things with wearing white at home. You have to get the other teams approval. Also picking out the WR's or TE's might be tough in a sea of white, especially in the Student end of the Stadium. And use any alternatives VERY sparingly.

OSU did that for a "Scarlet Out" a few years ago, and to this day I think it led to a PSU interception where the QB simply never saw the OSU DB superimposed over a wave of red (including a red painted end zone).
QBs know (hopefullyWouldn't that make it just as hard for a QB to pick up his receiver - in a sea of white?
Didn't they do that once in the Franklin era - for a homecoming game or something? Maybe I am mis-remembering.I think they go real old school and put the player's last names on the back of the jersey. It would be like 2012 or something wild like that.
We got rid of the numbers, I know that. They were stupid then and stupid now.Numbers on the helmets? Crazy idea!

That, of course, is a matter of opinion. I love em', as does Alabama who has had them on their helmets continuously since 1957. Our last helmet number run was from 67 to 74. In those 8 years we won 80 games. Coincidence? I think not.We got rid of the numbers, I know that. They were stupid then and stupid now.
uh... no. Ted Kwalick 1968I actually do not think they are that bad.
