Would we be the worst team to have a one-and-done player?

Read a draft analyst who still has GG as a lottery pick/high pick after this season. Said his game is raw but he has everything NBA scouts are looking for and they just need to get their hands on him to develop him. It was noted that he's playing for a terrible team, but scouts still see all the physical and athletic traits they want to see.

If he does end up being drafted after this season, would we be the worst team in recent memory to have a one-and-done player? I can't imagine many teams being much worse than we are this year.

We have to be. This year's team is one of the worst power 5 teams in the history of organized basketball.

What kills me is every time we pressure the top of the key or the wing…. We expose and fall victim to the lob pass nearly every time. Sometimes 3 possessions in a row.
if we don’t have the recovery or post rotation to cover this why do we persist?
& WTH with throwing passes back to the top from negative angles, for the pick slam, this is worse than throwing back across your body in football . Our fundamentals are pretty bad and kills the fact we actually have a few decent shooters

Might can equate that to poor coaching.
