The Big 5 is alive. It’s not the same without Jay Wright at Villanova. Kudos to the Quakers for pulling off an upset at the Palestra.
Are you an actual college sports fan? Do you understand what student-athlete means? Anyone that would throw away an Ivy League (except Cornell) education for a bit of NIL is an idiot. It's too bad I didn't come across you on Friday!Penn had the leading scorer in the Ivy League last year and lost him to St. Johns for NIL issues. I am not sure if any of the Penn players this year would see any meaningful minutes for Nova. A crazy upset.
It's a shame a school like Penn, whose alumni are some of the wealthiest people in the world, is not allowed by the IVY league "rule" to spend some NIL money. Can you imagine the team they could buy?
You would think a school that has Wharton, one of the best B schools in the country, would use that knowledge and help the sports programs out.

Thank you for taking it with the slight tongue-in-cheek angle it was meant (the NIL part)......but imagine if the Ivies backed the NIL, recruited the best prep-school athletes who were not 1 and ones, developed and paid them over 4 years class on class (think Duke light).....could have one heck of a product in basketball (where they are still in Division 1). The IVY league money makes the texas oil money look like pocket change. Are you an actual college sports fan? Do you understand what student-athlete means?
