Play calling is very good. Our line has improved but on one of the 4th downs if Simpkins hadn’t been late pulling and gotten blown up we would have had a big play. It happens. It’s execution many times, not the call. IMO
I've said that most of the season, but I disagree about last night. Not only were the 4th down calls head-scratching, there were a few others sprinkled in as well. But, it didn't matter in the end.

Play calling was exceptional last night. Mizzou’s dline edge rushers are very good. Our Oline did not perform well. Sellers saved us… I was on the Loggains fire train but after the last few games, it seems he understands the identity of the team… Sellers and Rocket.

I think the wr’s have sort of developed into what we thought we would see at the beginning of this season. We expected Brown, Larvadain, and Higgins Bruce to be a smaller, speedier unit, with Harbor being involved. Now we see Bennett, Larvadain, and Brown producing and making plays. If Nick Harbor could go pick the ball at its highest point he would be downright scary. Campbell is a player and was a hero of last nights game. The biggest success to me is the emergence and utilization of Josh Simon, especially when the other recievers weren’t quick there yet. He will be hard to replace after this season.

Where has Cambell been? Another deep threat.
Big. WE connected with him when the Mizz Defense played zone and rushed only 4. Sellers had time to let the play develop and man did he throw two dimes to Campbell. Great to see emergence of someone at WR

I think Coach Furrey is a diamond in the rough, he is constantly by Shane's side that tells me a lot, his guys have gotten better and have played tough throughout the year, he played in the league at a high level so he knows what it takes. I'll be interested to see how his recruits and portal recruits pan out, but I think he is an upgrade to say the least!

Yeah, let him do his thing. J. Brown, Harbor, Jacob’s, and Bennett back plus a handful of younger guys who were recruited but haven’t played much yet. Hard to imagine not one of the wr recruits coming in not stepping in and being an immediate factor.

I thought the play calling was fine. Going on 4th down is on Beamer, not the OC. Running game was not working and I think we adjusted well with our play calling. As one of you already pointed out, Missouri’s defense is pretty damn solid. WR room only getting better with the recruits coming in.

The jump pass TD followed up by the shuttle pass was very impressive. They were scared by Simon and never saw the shuttle pass coming. Well-thought out and well executed. Plus, when the run game wasn’t working, had no fear letting Sellers do his thing. I’m separating the 4th down nonsense by Beamer from the game Loggains called. Two different issues
