As a College Recruit

Quick offensive lineman with room for growth who looks to be one of the more agile prospects at the position in the 2023 cycle. Measured over 6-foot-5 and around 265 pounds with a 34-inch arm. A flexible athlete and outstanding mover. Excels as a second level blocker, using his high-end foot quickness to navigate in space. Shows a strong punch with pop in his hands. Turned in a fantastic showing at Under Armour’s Los Angeles camp prior to his senior season. Flashed a smooth pass set and showed the ability to anchor against much heavier defensive linemen. Turned in one of the best shuttle times of any offensive lineman nationally (4.5 second range). Could end up at offensive tackle or sliding inside at the next level. Continued to show improvement as a senior with outstanding game film and a very strong showing against blue-chip 2024 EDGE Elijah Rushing. Backed that up with very good showings at both the All-American Bowl and Polynesian Bowl. Will need to continue adding mass once in a strength and conditioning program, but already shows signs of good functional strength.

Caleb Lomu's coordination, movement skills and streamline build remind us of Connor Williams. Both are light-footed, nimble movers capable of playing several positions on the offensive line.

Caleb Lomu opens holes in the Polynesian Bowl

Utah signee Caleb Lomu manned the right tackle spot opposite Mauigoa and had several big blocks over the course of the game. The 6-foot-5, 265-pounder showed his patented light feet in pass protection and flashed some pop and finishing ability. He had a big pancake block, paving the way for a Kedrick Reescano touchdown.
