Measured 5-foot-11.5 and around 175 pounds with a 32-inch arm prior to his senior season. A riser on the college camp circuit, earning offers with dominant showings. Turned in the best in-person performance we saw from a corner in the 2023 cycle at LSU's camp. Paired that showing with outstanding film as a senior Ran multiple 40-yard dashes in the 4.4 range with a best of 4.35 seconds. Smooth and technical in coverage with the ability to quickly read wide receivers and flip his hips accordingly. Rarely, if ever surrendered completions in multiple camp appearances. Uses his length to stay attached. Instinctive and mirrors effectively. The 40-yard dash speed transfers over to the field. Has high-end ball production, totaling 11 interceptions as a junior and senior. Also forces an inordinate amount of fumbles with close to 10 strips over his final two seasons of high school football. Also shows playmaking ability as a return man. Helped his team to a state title as a junior. Also plays basketball.

Jermaine Mathews' dimensions, controlled footwork and coverage ability remind us of Tre'Davious White. Mathews may be a bit more polished than White at the same stage, as White played quarterback in high school.
