Personal Life
Basketball is a family tradition for Sean Stewart. His father, Michael, had an eight-year NBA career, while his grandfather, Mike, had a prestigious career at Santa Clara, taking home the WCC Player of the Year in 1972, then enjoying an eight-year career overseas. Stewart has used his father’s experience to help him become a better player. “He always gives good advice,” Stewart told BVM Sports. “We’re always talking about basketball 24-7. Even my mom. It’s really fun to be around. Everybody loves basketball so much in our household.” Stewart played his first three years of high school basketball (2019-22) at Windermere High School. He averaged 20.5 points and 13.6 rebounds his junior year to help Windermere High finish with a 21-7 overall record. He transferred to Montverde Academy for his senior year of high school.
