As graduation gets underway at The University of Alabama this weekend, a total of 79 Crimson Tide student-athletes will celebrate earning their degrees in the spring semester.

The 79 University of Alabama student-athletes are slated to earn 83 undergraduate and graduate degrees this weekend. The Tide’s tally includes two NCAA champions, five All-Americans and eight CSC Academic All-District honorees.

This year’s spring graduates also include student-athletes who were part of CFP National Championship and men’s basketball Final Four squads during their time at The Capstone, in addition to multiple Southeastern Conference Championships in men’s and women’s cross country, football, gymnastics, men’s basketball, soccer and softball.

Additionally, NCAA Champions Chris Robinson (men’s track and field) and Luisa Blanco (gymnastics), NCAA West Region Most Outstanding Player Mark Sears (men’s basketball) and Elite 90 winner Max Scharnowski (men’s basketball) highlighted the Crimson Tide’s May graduates.

The Tide also saw two former student-athlete return to The Capstone in 2018 MLB draft pick Cobie Vance and Eagles cornerback Eli Ricks.

Among the Crimson Tide’s 83 degrees, there are 70 bachelor’s and 13 master’s, with football’s Sam Willoughby, swimming and diving’s Selina Reil and track and field’s Arthur Graham and Kerri Walsh coming away with a pair of degrees.
