Co-hosts Matt Carter and Ethan McDowell both agreed on the same word to describe the vibe from NC State head coach Dave Doeren plus players super senior linebacker Payton Wilson, super senior quarterback Brennan Armstrong and fourth-year junior cornerback Aydan White.
That word was “loose.” There seems to be a quiet confidence exuded from Doeren and the players, but is that belief matched by the ACC media? Carter and McDowell both shared their thoughts that NC State should be preseason top five in the league, but the guess is that feeling may not be shared when the official preseason predictions are released next week.
