Last time out

USC used a massive close in the fourth quarter to put Kansas away once and for all as JuJu Watkins finished with 28 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. McKenzie Forbes continued her stellar play to close the season as she hit a career-high six 3-pointers and scored 20 points. Clarice Akunwafo served as a major presence inside, recording six of USC’s 10 blocks and six of USC’s 17 offensive rebounds.

Baylor got a big game from Jada Walker in the win over Virginia Tech. After finishing the season sixth on the team in scoring, averaging 8.2 points per game, Walker scored 28 points on 9-of-16 shooting to help Baylor to the win. The Bears shot just 5-of-18 from deep and 16-of-25 from the line, but Walker’s 26 second-half points and three-point play with 20 seconds left in the game proved enough.
