See the link below. From the article:

“Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar was pulled off the team's pregame radio show Sunday for betting on Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, sources confirmed to ESPN.

Kosar tweeted out that his "services are no longer desired or needed" on Sunday morning.

Earlier in the week, Kosar said on his own radio show that he bet $19,000 on the Browns, though he noted he would be giving the winnings to charity. Kosar wore the No. 19 when he starred with the Browns during the 1980s.

The NFL prohibits team personnel from betting on its games.”

Oops. Could he really have not known about the rule? He’s been around the league a while.

Bernie was actually a pretty smart guy. Graduated with a business degree early. Miami used to have a pretty good undergraduate business program.

He was no slouch in the classroom.

You’re killing our vibe. We had a narrative brewing.

Couldn’t it just be that he was sickened by watching the Browns and remaining upbeat throughout the continuing misery. Perhaps he wanted to go out with a dramatic flair, and his long suffering addled brain came up with this idea. I always want to give a guy the benefit of a doubt and remain positive.

True. And it could be that he sees sports betting everywhere and available everywhere, so in his mind, he might be thinking: 'ah screw it, everyone else can bet and I'm not personally playing anymore, so what is the problem with laying a few G's down"?

Legalized sports betting, paying players to commit to a college team and meat on Friday. By the way, did all those souls who went to hell for eating meat on Friday, get to transfer without penalty?
