Agreed its a QB driven league with the rules catered for QBs and the passing game. I said way back when the Giants drafted Barkley that high in the draft it was a huge mistake for them that they needed a QB in this league. Granted the QBs haven't worked out but the Giants need a QB and Oline before having a stud RB. This is coming from an Eagles fan. Personally I would love to see them tie all their money up in Barkley.
The article states it is $12m for Barkley, and $14 for Jacobs. I suspect that the Browns are seeking to renegotiate Chubb's contract or cut him (he's to make $14m coming off a massive injury and two knee surgeries). KC won a super bowl with Pacheco at RB. And while he played well, he isn't the second coming. So it is hard to argue with the league as they undervalue RBs versus other positions.

That’s great if you have Mahomes as your QB, but most teams don’t and the Giants especially don’t. A QB driven league where most teams don’t have a stud QB doesn’t really make a lot of sense….which may be why KC keeps winning it.
Could be because the Niners realize their QB isn’t going to single handedly win them a SB, so they built a team around him….unlike all these other teams who just keep trying to find a QB who can carry the team and failing. That would be like trying to build an NBA team by just hoping you can draft another Steph Curry and not trying to get big guys and defenders. NFL teams need to realize devaluing RB’s isn’t working for anyone except KC.
