It is obvious that PSU doesn't give a rats *** about bringing a handful of fanboys that got butt-hurt 10 years ago back into the fold. Good riddance. Looking forward to future games at Barron/Barbour field at Beaver Stadium with Franklin leading us to multiple 6 win seasons.
Barry, I hope that if you're announced as victorious later today you'll help to make Barron/Barbour field at Beaver Stadium a reality.

Don't forget to visit the Barron Louvre and the Barbour cement pond before the game!

Will never forget a story our youngest told when he was in second or third grade. Teachers asked the class what they wanted to be when they grew up. Most of the answers were typical......baseball player, football player, doctor, nurse, race car driver. One kid said "investment banker." My reaction, "At eight years old that is so wrong." In case you couldn't guess he never became an investment banker.
I wanted to be Zamfir, master of the pan flute.

Good question.

I keep forgetting that barren is going to hang around for a year to show Neeli the ropes. Perhaps I shouldn’t have sold the onion dip stocks. 😞

Now that he's a contractor he won't have time for the dip swimming parties. Those special projects don't finish themselves.

I would move all of the onion dip stocks to suppository stocks as heard all of the BOT members' sphincters puckering up this afternoon 🤷‍♂️

His biggest accomplishment is making sure he gets a retirement check each month from Penn State for way more than he deserves. I wonder if he gets to double dip for next year or if he has to wait until his “consultant “ role is over? Would not be surprised to see that his consultant role actually allows him to increase his retirement monthly payment.

We’re in good hands.
Indeed.

“During his past eight years as president, Eric has led Penn State through a remarkable period of transition, transformation and growth, while continuing to focus on the university’s mission of teaching, research and service,” Matthew Schuyler, chair of the Board of Trustees, said. “His efforts have touched every facet of campus life, including promoting greater access and affordability, as well as diversity and inclusion; bolstering the university’s support for active-military student veterans; and growing the university’s world-class research enterprise.”

Neeli should just quit now.

A Port-Pottie would have been more appropriate to bear his name,, the Eric J. Baron Shizhole.

Those of you who could never get his name spelled correctly or thought onion dip jokes were funny won’t agree, but this is actually a very appropriate way to recognize his very unique contribution to the Penn State community and to the economy of Pennsylvania. Of course all these critics have made contributions to society which far exceed anything which Dr Barron has done but they’re just to modest to brag about it.

I laugh at contributions to society.

The only redeeming thought about this is the fact that the building is not on campus and will not have to be a daily reminder to all employees, students and alumni every day of seeing his name emblazed in big, bold, gaudy letters and the so-called "legacy".

How are the art museums out there?

All the best consultants hide out in mountains, especially in the tough times. You've got Marsh, Kaczynski, and now Barron. Have you ever wondered why Deliverance was filmed in the NC mountains?

I do know how to spell his name, though typing and proofreading have never been a strong suit. Find it ironic, though, that this criticism would come from someone deficient in proper usage of the English language.
