Yes it was, Embiid is always fun to watch. Last time they met with Nets undermanned they beat the sixers and KD pointed the sixers to off the court... last night JE returned the jesture.Embid and KD were exchanging words at the games end almost getting into it. It was fun to watch as Embid was calling him out and taunting him. In this era of meaningless sports it was fun to watch players with some passion for winning.
It wasn’t a big deal at all. Just friendly barking.Embid and KD were exchanging words at the games end almost getting into it. It was fun to watch as Embid was calling him out and taunting him. In this era of meaningless sports it was fun to watch players with some passion for winning.
I can’t stress how much I want Tobias gone and off this team
nice win in OT over the Grizzlies, without Enbiid in the lineup, 122-119
Is this going to happen, Sixers fans? The latest I’ve heard is the team is engaged in multiple fronts to move out Harris and Simmons to clear the way for Harden.
who knows
If I’m Morey, I pass unless it’s Simmons for Harden plus salary make goods. No way I include Thybulle and I hang up the phone if Maxey comes up.
Harden is leaving Brooklyn. It’s just a matter of now or in the summer when the Sixers have more leverage.
Maxey is even more important with Simmons leaving. They need a primary ball handler.Tough situation. You're paying Simmons a boatload of money and he's not playing for you. And Embiid is playing out of his head, but you wonder how long his window will last at his height/weight combo. Harden certainly has some talent, but if there isn't some type of agreement made before the trade, he can walk at the end of this season. So if you trade for him without an agreement, you may not be getting him for more than a few months. (And conversely, he's 32, so how many $$ and years would you commit to him if you could work out a pre-trade agreement?)
Thybulle is the Sixers' best defender, a skill that is important in the playoffs. I think it would be a mistake to include him in a trade unless you got some type of defensive specialist as part of the return package. Maxey is the Sixers point-guard of the future. From reports, lots of teams have asked about him, but reports also indicate that the Sixers have refused to engage in talks about him.
Agreed. In the big picture, I think that's the smarter play for the Sixers. Shorter term, you should go for a championship if you think you have the opportunity. Which one play does the ownership and Morey think is more important? I guess we'll know by this time tomorrow.
