Newcastle United 0-2 Arsenal, full time.

The Gunners seemed to be showing their form from earlier in the season.

Newcastle started strong and hit the post on an early chance. If that goes in, perhaps the result is different. Of course, it helps to put the ball in the net.

Fulham v. Leicester City about to get underway on USA Network. It’s a “Who gives a sh|t?” match, but it’s football.

Today is a Bank Holiday in the U.K. There are three matches today.

It’s a relegation derby.

Final: Brighton 1, Everton 5

I don’t get it.
Yeah, Everton (now 16th) just jumped Leicester City (17th) and if Nottingham Forest (18th) beats Southampton (coming up), NHF will jump out of the relegation zone, LC will then be 18th.

Southampton officially relegated.
Chelsea 2-2 Nottingham Forest, full time. Very exciting, three goals in the first fifteen minutes of the second half, both teams fighting like hell. NHF really couldn’t afford a defeat here.

Yup. Good match.

In related news, Lampard’s got this.

Everton-MC, tomorrow, Sunday, is crucial for Everton. They are in 17th place, one point clear of relegation. If Everton lose and Leicester City beat Liverpool on Monday, LC will jump out of the Relegation Zone and Everton will be #18.

Anyone remember when Pulisic used to play for them?

Yeah, I don’t think Everton are winning tomorrow.

Leicester better not beat Liverpool.

I saw this during the match. Physically, it wasn’t much, but from the article, the nut said some scary stuff to Howe. Fortunately, it wasn’t a Monica Seles sort of incident.

Chelsea really letting me down this year.
Weird stuff with them this year. I think the ownership change basically screwed up the entire organization from top down. They will be back, but you do look at that roster and the last month and just scratch your head. I think the last time Chelsea had such an off year they won either the league or Europe the next year FWIW.

Not for nothing, but I'll be happy if the Foxes pull a draw tomorrow with Liverpool.

At what point, if ever, do we start putting Haaland up there with Ronaldo?
