Crystal Palace 1-0 Chelsea at 13’, and it looks as if it’ll finish 5-0.

1-1 at the half. Good soccer.

Liverpool is a mess. At home, they fall behind Brighton, 0-2. Then they tie it up and even take a 3-2 lead in the 2nd half, only to finish with a draw, 3-3.

😑

For those who may have questioned North London... It has been Red, it is Red and it will forever be Red.

You've now been informed, you're welcome.

COYG!!!
Just watched the replay of Royal’s red card. Wow. Yellow yes, red, c’mon. Good game by Gooners, however.

It was yellow. Stupid foul, but yellow. Even the Arsenal players were a bit stunned to see that red. Xhaka understood, but everyone else was surprised :ROFLMAO:

Manchester City 4-0 Man United at the half. I’m just checking the score, am not watching.

I turned it off. City will win whatever they want to this year. Everyone else is playing for second in England and Europe.

Goal differential leaders: Man City 20, Arsenal 12, Liverpool and Spurs both 9. That’s quite intimidating.

Leicester City 0-0 Nottingham F at 23’

Boy, LC’s Maddison made a perfect, perfect soft cross into the middle of the box for a perfect, perfect header and it goes wide. Pitiful.

NF make a brilliant run, perfectly executed except the ball goes off the post. Dang.

LC goal at 25’. 1-0. Some weak clearing and then a deflection.

LC goat at 25’. 1-0. Bad clearing and a deflection.
LC 3-0 NF, three goals in ten minutes after NF blew their chance. Now 43’. Fun match to watch while working a problem that I’m making no progress with, can’t begin to see how it works.

LC 4-0 NF at 85’. Fun match. I figured out the nuts and bolts but geometrically I’m still at sea. It’ll work itself out, always does.

No it's not. It's a one horse race and City will be by 12-15 points clear by the end of the year if City stays remotely healthy.
Okay, is a bet that Manchester City ends up with zero losses out of 38 something you’d consider? I’m trying to picture how the “winning by 15 points” thing would play out. That’s four losses less than Arsenal’s would be, roughly.

Not sure how it would play out, but I believe that the winner has been 12 to 19 points clear in 3 of the past 5 seasons. Seems like most teams will have a rough spell where they drop some points. MC just doesn't.

Damn, I did not know that, the 12-19 points clear thing. One thing about mathematics is that you keep learning new stuff, and you’re never quite sure about how much you don’t quite understand. Same thing in this thread, smh.

Just the past 5 seasons though, coinciding with the dominance of MC and Liverpool for one season. Before that, it wasn't a thing. MC is just in a class by itself and this current version seems like it is better than previous.

I'll be there for the official tour on 10/21 and the Newcastle match that Sunday. After two trips to White Hart Lane (2014 and 2016) and one to Wembley (2018) (and no trips abroad since then), I'm in anticipatory mode! I won't be going to the NBC Philly FanFest on 10/15 due to trying to be extra C-19 careful right before my trip.

Brentford v. Brighton & Hove Albion on USA Network at 3 p.m. EDT. It has been reported that Brighton’s Enock Mwepu has retired due to a heart condition. 🙁
