So glad I have been wrong on my feeling of this team after game 3. Wow, what a punch in the mouth the Sixers delivered! Embiid proving his MVP status for any doubters that still may be out there, Maxi with a huuuge game against a team he usually struggles agains, and House Jr!! What the what!! I could not stop giggling at what he contributed and Boston looked 2steps behind his fresh wheels and aggressiveness. That team was all business last night and hope that’s the same team we see Thursday night in Philly.

Playing the Celtics seems simple…if they miss 3’s you win easy. If they make them you don’t stand much of a chance. One way to possibly stop that…STOP EFFING HELPING EVERY DAMN TIME LEAVING A WIDE OPEN SHOOTER!!

Certainly some surprises with the rotations by Doc. But I wasn't too concerned -- they were only down 7 at the half.

A great 3rd qtr by the Sixers.

It's anybody's game in the 4th qtr. Sixers have missed too many wide open corner 3s, especially when JoJo is hitting everything he shoots in the 4th qtr.

It’s over Johnny…sixers offense decides to $h1t the bed at the worst possible moment. Oh…and Tatum woke up.

They had their chance to close this series out. Now you have to play game 7 on the road. This sucks

13 effing points in the 4th quarter in a close out game with the MVP, James Harden, and Maxey. What a total disaster.

yeah, it was there to win, and then they had 3 or 4 straight possessions where the (the Sixers) missed uncontested shots, and as you mentioned, Tatum woke up.

Definitely a disappointing last 5 minutes of the game after an entertaining game.

This Sixers team squanders yet another season - likely Embiid’s career best. They just never got the right player makeup or coaching during The Process years.

Now we have to see where Morey tries to take them next. 🤷‍♂️

Edit: Hardin was 0-6 on his 3 point shots and the Sixers overall were miserable on the 3 point shots tonight. That and getting out rebounded were the big differences in the game. The Celtics played much better perimeter defense.

Heard this stat last night….”that was Glen Rivers 32nd close out game playoff loss. Most in NBA history”. Here’s hoping Glen doesn’t get his 33rd on Sunday.

Rivers just sucks, hated him in LA. Hated the Sixers hiring him, awful coach with his teams constantly under performing. Add in the Harden is nothing but a shell of the player he once was. He used to be very consistent now, it’s boom or bust.

The Knicks coach says "Hold my beer!"

"Hello....Hi Mrs. Wright, this is the Sixers General Manager. Is Jay home? We need to talk to him!"

He's lost his last four game sevens by double digits. Obviously, every year is different and its a small sample size but I'm not expecting much.

I give Sixers the edge in coaching. Mazzulla should not be coaching a team with championship aspirations. I wouldn’t write Sixers off. Celtics are fragile and poorly coached.

Explain to me how the MVP of the entire league does not get a touch in the last 4 minutes of the game, and spare me the blame Rivers crap. Harden stunk…and it's the coaches job to make sure that 30 year old pros know enough to make sure the best player in the league gets shots in the 4th quarter! No way Jay Wright would want to coach NBA players...

Damn near 95% chance they get run off the court in Boston tomorrow. You see it coming with this staff and no-fight roster.

It's hard to know what will happen. The Sixers have won 2 of the 3 games played in Boston. The Celtics have won 2 of the 3 games played in Philadelphia. If anything, the trend seems to favor the visitors.

The Sixers have been maddeningly inconsistent. Embiid's injury probably accounts for some percentage of that. Harden has been terrific in a couple of games, so-so in others, and was terrible in game 6. The Sixers (including the bench) couldn't miss in game 5, and then couldn't hit a number of good looks in game 6 (especially in the final 5 minutes).

Does the extra day off (all prior games in the series were played on just one days rest) offer more help to the Sixers, to the Celtics, or no advantage to either team?

I'm leaning toward it being a close game, with the Sixers winning. I think that comes from my head, but perhaps it's coming from my heart. In short, I haven't a clue how this will play out, but I'm looking forward to the game.

Good game. Boston up 3 at the half. Some really high-level skills I’m seeing out there.

Sixers just shot (and missed) a three with no one underneath to rebound. Yeesh.

Celtics on a 21-3 run.
