Watching the attached vid….that HR pitch to Harper was a big OL lollipop. My god….that was a pure disaster of a pitch.

I was watching that live the other night. Thought the same. I could hit that. (no, I couldn't, but I'll pretend I would)

I've been distracted this week, but I did watch a few Dodgers games late night over the weekend. They rocked Urias. I have him on one of my fantasy teams, so the one time I was OK with the Phillies not going off, of course, they do. Still, happier to see the Phils win in the end.

Massive three weeks coming up. Padres and Dodgers of course this week, but then Atlanta and the Mets, finishing with the Giants May 30 - June 1. No days off either. I know it's still kinda early, but the next 16 days should tell us a lot.

kind of baffling. Their bats were quite active against the Dodgers. Then they come home and face the Padres, and get only 5 hits and 0 runs.
Yep. Lots of bad swings at stuff outside the strike zone only to watch good pitches.

Looks like Harper can return to DH today. Let’s hope for a series win. Daunting stretch of games here again at least they are at home.

Scherzer out 6-8 weeks with an oblique strain. Can Phillies make up some ground? deGrom still out and Megill with bicep tendinitis. Mets pitching staff in the dumper right now.

Every game counts the same but this is one to remember. They needed this win big time. Let’s see what happens next series.

I hope this is the one that propels them to get on a run here. Every time I think that's going to happen it doesn't.

Poor Bryce. Career prime being wasted on a team with a bullpen that is best described as The Island of Misfit Toys.

Norwood. I know the Phils were trying to build a bullpen but dang. My two memories of him this season are 1) being the guy who set the stage for the Mets' 9th inning six run comeback and 2) last night giving up a bomb then loading the bases with nobody out before being pulled in the sixth. Bellatti did a good job working out of it and only allowing one more run to score. But maybe those two runs assigned to Norwood wouldn't have matter anyway since it seemed the Phils were set on blowing the game regardless.

Gotta wonder how many more games like last night Girardi can weather. His mismanagement of the bullpen is killing this team.
Front office made their own bed with the defense, it looked bad on paper in March and its as bad as it looked.
Something is seriously wrong with the inconsistent offense.
New faces in 2022 and yet this team is a replay of last years group.
IMHO Giardia is gone by 4th of July.
