Ump Scorecards does a great job at looking back at how the home plate ump called every game the day after. They also have a data base you can search for each ump from the past. I like to look at it especially when Angel Hernandez was behind the plate. 😡

Nice, I'll definitely check this out. Thanks for sharing.

As an aside: I was once in an umpire ejection fantasy league. That was an experience. Can't remember exactly how it worked but think you picked from I've tiers and then got points based on correct ejections, incorrect ejections (based on statcast info), and some other things.

ugh, Phils got 2 on in the bottom of the 9th, but couldn't plate any of them against Diaz. They loss 2-0 to the Mets.

Oh, that's interesting. I never saw this before. Thanks for the heads up.

LOVE afternoon baseball. Should be a good one today. Going to need some offense, though, to win it. Outside of that explosion Monday night, the bats sure have been cold lately.

Anyone able to watch today? Haven’t seen a pitch but the box score reads more like the pitching we all thought we might see this year. Yikes.

Nola struggled but lack of any hitting is what is hurting. Bases loaded in first and could not score. Bullpen has spit the bit now and it’s 8-1. Alonso has two doubles and a homer
Today.

Phillies now head to Miami. Can't wait to see how that goes. Some of those early season losses to the Marlins last year were just crushing.

Gibson dealing but Phils can’t get a hit with RISP. 1-0 Phil’s so far. Schwarber led off with a double, Realmuto single and Harper sac fly

yeah, they left too many on base, and hit in to several untimely DPs. The Phils outhit the Fish, 11-6, but the Fish took G1 of the series, 4-3.

At some point they’ll score enough to win. But it’s been a tough watch so for especially up top.

That was a frustrating one tonight. Kyle Gibson was cruising. Then poof, the 4th inning comes and everything changes. Similar to Aaron Nola the other day.

another view from a different camera.

The Wooderboys have a podcast with a conversation between The Launcher, the Mets Scumbag, and the guy that posted the 2nd video.

Ha, that's incredible. Thanks for sharing!

Pretty disappointed with last night's game. It boggles my mind how often they lose to the Marlins.

I thought I saw a stat the other day that the Phils are above .500 with every other team in the division except the Marlins over the past two seasons or so? That is wild.

That is correct, and it's hard to believe, but true.

They are going to mess somebody up late this year. They might have the deepest group of arms in baseball and if these guys come along throughout this year, you don’t ever want to be going down there facing those arms and playing in that cemetery needing to win 2 of 3 or 3 of 4 to get into the post season.

Florida is a challenge since the people down there don’t really support baseball but the Rays and Marlins both know what they are doing from a talent evaluation perspective. It’s a cruel business when Mattingly gets blown out of LA missing out managing an All Star team to wind up in Miami with an empty stadium and team wallet.

Yep, you are right about all of it. They definitely have put together a nice team and farm system.

Really disappointed with that Phillies Mets fan "fight". Back in the day things could get more heated. LOL

Phillies getting blown out. They may be done by the end of this month if things keep going this way.
