by the book, it's the correct call. But this is one of the things I don't like about VAR -- in real time, that's almost never a red card.

As for the offsides, that's legitimate. There were 2 guys in an offside position, but the shot came right next to or even under the leg of one of them, so that's shielding the view of the GK, so it should be called as offsides.

A dangerous play to make when you're already on a yellow. Was it worthy of another yellow? I think refs would be split on that.

Chelsea scores in stoppage time to go up 3-1. Hard to see the Spurs staying unbeaten when they are down to 9 players

One of the worst games I have viewed in terms of micromanaging the game. The stoppages were ridiculous. Make a call and move on.

The announcers were highly critical of the refs and VAR throughout the match. That made it entertaining, at least.

Interesting article about Kane.

He left the best competition in the world at the EPL to play for a triple A franchise. As Steve Miller sang, “go on take the money and run”. He will be back with Spurs eventually. He is probably ruing leaving seeing what Postegoclu has done with the club.

Spurs will be without Maddison, Van de Ven, and Richarlson for the foreseeable future (at least until
New Year) due ankle, hamstring, and groin injuries respectively. Romero out three games due to red card. Tough sledding ahead with these injuries.

As much as I hate Bayern, they have had an awful lot of success outside of the Bundesliga for a AAA franchise.
