Is taking more than 25 players in this class a possibility for Franklin? It seems like the class could be pretty full by the start of the upcoming season.

things are often fluid in recruiting, but at this point it's highly unlikely the class will exceed 25.

Thanks.
With the transfer portal now, it’s anybody’s guess and a high possibility.

PSU really liked him, and had him at the top of their board. But Georgia has been the leader for some time.

PSU liked Metcalf, and hosted him for an OV. He was up there on their board, but not as high as the safeties from whom they had recently landed verbals. Arkansas looked to be his preference once there was no longer room at PSU, and today he made it official.

The coaching staff at Arkansas is doing a fantastic job coaching and recruiting. Tip of the hat to them. I hope they shake up the SEC a bit.

Internet rumors are that Arkansas and Louisville have gone all-in from an NIL perspective. Walmart and Papa John’s money getting thrown around.
Louisville is getting some serious firepower in this class. Aside from the top-50 WR from Southern Cal that USC really wanted (staff has SoCal connections), I can't believe they went and got Rueben Owens. They have a lot of work to do to build a championship roster, but they have a fantastic QB-WR-RB combo for this class.

I like it -- spreads the wealth a bit more. With Louisville recruiting well and Miami putting together a big class, Clemson may actually have competition in the ACC for once.

Or if Clemson and Miami bolt, Pitt will at least not win what's left by default.......... ;)

Thats what it seems like.
CBs all swapped yesterday evening.
He is a real tough player and hope we dont regret losing him. BTW Semaj Bridgeman, another player we originally offered commited to Michigan.

Tough cycle. Multiple guys we all would have wanted in most years. Can't sign em all. Particularly when we go after hybrid safety/LB types as well.
