He's better than mediocre and his stats are the result of a system. That system worked for him and State. Maybe Wright is a good passer and his legs, in this system, make him more useful. Not sure he's all that good which is why I said I implied the new system might be a problem this year.
Hello State fans. We have to quit worrying how our team plays the first 3 quarters. Now that the third quarter is over we can begin to cheer! We are winning! Feels great!
Special Teams! We’ve got a young Frank Beamer on our hands boys!
Not to mention the reason he is the best qb in history is the offense in which he played had more passing attempts than any offense in fbs.

I understand the talent Laura Rutledge has, by why no love for Alyssa Lang? Good looking in a bit of an unconventional way.
I agree. I also agree that he'd be a 4-year starter in that system that got us 9 wins last year. I hope he's the guy for this one as well.

As poorly as we played for most of the first half, we are covering the 31-point spread now. Not bad.

Dammit we’re showing too much of the offense. Gotta keep that **** quiet before we clue the rest of the SEC we are great. We even revealed our secret weapon already!
Lots to improve. It’s encouraging to see us run the ball better in the 2nd half. Defense should be fine. This offense is going to take a few games to get right, then we’ll know how good we can be this year.
SELA has about 10 yards in the 2nd half. They turned it up significantly after that long drive.
We'll be good in the RB room once the Oline gets its schit together.
I like that we improved in second half. But we need to figure out who we are on offense and go that way. Not inpressed with will today. He's just not a playmaker. He's a system qb and he doesn't look good in a pro style offense which means he will be like many other air raid guys who don't play on Sundays.
That why wright fits this offense better. Defense thinks he is gonna keep it whitmore gets a huge td run
