Liverpool 2, Real Madrid 0.
Liverpool top of Champions League table (sounds familiar).
Tough week for Andy Robertson who gives another PK. Fortunately this one was saved without rebound.

Man City was up 3-0 vs Feyenoord and ended up drawing!
I believe that is 6 straight winless for MC. So sad!

What’s going on there? This all can’t be because they lost Rodri.
I haven't been following EPL too closely, but I think Rodri is a big part and they have some other injuries as well. Maybe not players out, but hampered and playing? Don't quote me on that. Hope the Reds can take advantage this weekend.

@LaJollaCreek what in the world happened in this game. Must have been some pretty strange goals.

Nothing really to crazy. Everton had a strong 20-30 minutes in the first half, but after that MU was just clinical with their chances. One of Rashford's went off an Everton CB but it had Pickford beat so that is why it wasn't an own goal. Others were simple finishes to be honest so those numbers for MU seem a bit off. New system is still getting kinks worked out as United does look vulnerable to counter attacks, but in time with Shaw, Mainoo, and a few others getting healthy they at least have some options.

Pretty bad look for him with the 6 fingers. I thought he was above that sort of thing.
Pep is a good coach, don't get me wrong.....but he's also coached the most talented teams on the planet. Winning at City with the Saudi financing scheme and Barcelona with Messi kind of makes me question him a bit. If Forest even gets a point mid week this week, he may really snap.

Today’s MERCYSIDE. DERBY. o_O between Everton and Liverpool has been postponed. They have the winds in northwest England.

From yesterday:

FT: Liverpool 2, Fulham 2

Surprising result, but I’ll take it. Fulham took an early 1-0 lead, then Liverpool was given a red card a few minutes later (Andy Robertson). 17 minutes into the match, down 1-0 and down a man.

Liverpool drew even, 1-1. Then Fulham regained the lead, 2-1. Liverpool again pulled even at 2-2 in the 86th minute (Diogo Jota). That’s how it ended. I’ll take it under the circumstances.
