I didn’t think it was a goal tending, but they probably shouldn’t have blown the whistle. We got away with a little shove on defense at the end.
They actually stepped out on that last play after Konan’s shove, so got to run some extra time off too.
Second men’s basketball game in a row where my peacock app stopped working. Problem was this time it stopped working right as Northwestern was inbounding the ball after the review of the goaltending at the end.

Indiana lost their best player, Malik Reneau, to a knee injury early in tonight’s game. Definitely changes Sunday’s game if he can’t go.

NW got hosed on that. I hate this new mindset officials have with goaltends where they blow the whistle so they can go check it. That’s the only reason the whistle blew. A trained eye could easily see it was a legal block. The rule is even worse when they wait to check it during a timeout 3 mins later and wipe the points off the board. Then, PSU got away with a clear 2 hands/shove. That official should be banished to JUCO ball for that miss.

Tough "home game" loss that was winnable. In fact ESPN gave us a 71% chance to win.
Ballo dominated PSU inside with 25 pts and 12 rebounds. I worry that he won't be the only one.
PSU came out flat to start the second half. TOs, missed dunk, and out of control on offense led to a 15 pt deficit. Big comeback effort late but was thwarted by missed FTs.
We could have used Dunn to step up today but he was 0-5. Dilione isn't a PG and it showed when Ace was out.
