Big move this week, as we picked up 90 votes in the AP Poll. It now puts us at 30th. Clemson entered the poll at 16th. Purdue fell to 11th.

The coaches gave us 30 votes, putting us at 35th. They've got Clemson and Purdue the same as the AP.

PSU took an early 7-2 lead but it's been all Rutgers since then. Down 12 with under 7 min in 1st half.

Down 15 at half. Poor shooting but also getting out hustled and out rebounded.

Ace looked gassed at the end of the half. We’re giving them too many free points at the line, and we’re not getting any ourselves (same with second chance points). They defended pretty well and contested everything, while we didn’t get the turnovers we needed over the last 15 minutes.

Rhoades has to be laying into them now…4:00 on the halftime clock and we’re still in locker room, while Rutgers has been out for several minutes.

PSU has battled back, to make it 76-73, Rutgers, with 3:09 left in the game. PSU is on a 10-2 run to get it to 3 points.

PSU fought back but horrible 1st half did them in. To bad because this was a winnable road game.

PSU with the ball, down 79-76, and calls TO with 10.3 sec left, to set up a play for the tie.

Ace misses a 3, Rutgers gets the rebound, and PSU fails the rebounder while fighting for the ball with 4.8 sec left. Rutgers has been bad at the charity stripe tonight, but gets the 2nd, so it's 80-76, with 4.8 sec left.

Ace really looked tired at the end of both halves. The pace he/we were playing at, 38 minutes is a tough ask. Mike really shortened the bench without giving Stewart or Carter any minutes (must have been worried about it really getting away from us). Rutgers kept us in it with the missed FTs, but gave up too many offensive boards, and sent them to the line too many times.

Great atmosphere at the RAC…definitely bought them some 50/50 calls, but man did Rhoades work the refs hard.

Need a bit more from Konan if we’re really gonna get to where I hope we can get to this season.

Another one that it’s tough to take anything from. Glad we got Carter and Stewart both a good run.

Wonder if we’re looking to redshirt both Rice and Goodman. Rice hasn’t shown up on the last few injury reports, and feel like if neither of them played today, there won’t be many opportunities the rest of the season.

Was really hoping for Goodman to get some playing time. So far YKN has not performed well against major program competition. Will be a problem in B10 play.

Up 8 at the half without making a 3 (0-6). Konan dominating inside, as he’s done against the smaller teams.

Not the best performance, but did what was needed in the post-finals landmine. Puff with a double double, while has to be the first of his career.
