Hmm, reset the box, tried again and got kicked off after 30 seconds
Not pretty, but finally got some stops and scored inside (and at the line) to put it away...then, once it was decided, we started knocking down our 3's.
We avoided all of the non-conference landmines, and put ourselves in position. Really big week ahead, with the home game against Northwestern and Indiana in Philly. Going 2-0 is important, but it won't be easy (Pomeroy gives us a 44% chance of it).

I just eventually had to watch NFL football because the app wouldn’t work for more than a minute at a time before needing to log out or reset and then go through another minute or two of all of the commercials and such.
Seems like a semi typical Christmas break type game without a whole lot of intensity. Need to get that initial win against Northwestern to start the new year.

Reminder that there are still tickets available for the Palestra game against Indiana on Sunday at 12pm. Link below to get them at face value directly from Penn. Unfortunately, we're still looking at almost 1k unsold tickets...hope that the declining interest doesn't hurt the chances of getting this game again next season at the Palestra.
It just dawned on me that if the FB team makes the final, the home BB game against Rutgers will be like an empty dungeon in the BJC. Similar story happened in Philadelphia when they played Drexel at the Wells Fargo Center while the FB team was playing SMU.
Very disappointing for a basketball school.
I'd expect the conference to make some type of change to the game...probably not as drastic as changing the date, but likely moving it to something like 5pm to not conflict with the football game. Then, PSU would likely have a watch party in the BJC after the game (so hopefully this would help add to the turnout for the basketball game).

Really turned up the D leading to offense…but can’t take that stupid T with this momentum.
Too many turnovers and giving up too many offensive rebounds. Then throw in Baldwin and Konan not shooting well and it’s tough.
I don't feel comfortable with this back and forth stuff. We need to get the lead to 5. We will need to hit our free throws down the stretch.
I’m sure people will complain about the number of fouls called tonight…but my God, they’ve swallowed the whistle a bit both ways or we could have had 20 more.
Ace is the Abdul Carter of hoops. He gets fouled at least 4 times a game with no calls! Just like AC grr E TD held all game
