Should we just pencil in a loss against Ohio State now? Or wait until the game?
Why wait? And use a pen.

Hmmmm, donāt travel very far after 10/19 at MD. There goes the visions of them in a Midwest November inclement weather game. Not a bad welcome mat.Welcome to the B1G USC!
In exchange for remedying their past (statistically possible) scheduling sins, the BiG āatonesā by awarding PSU with 2 of 4 ānew conference immigrantsā.Not a bad home schedule, with:
UCLA on 10/5
Ohio State on 11/2
Washington on 11/9
With PSU @ USC on 10/12, there does seem to be a stacking of the 4 toughest games (just projecting at this point) in 2 series of back-to-back weekends.
Should be interesting
Actually 3 of 4 new teams USC, UCLA, and UW.In exchange for remedying their past (statistically possible) scheduling sins, the BiG āatonesā by awarding PSU with 2 of 4 ānew conference immigrantsā.
Ohio State is awarded one (1).
Is there any doubt about which university controls the B1G?

I'm not arguing your overall point vis-a-vis OSU, but we play three PAC refugees: @USC, home with UCLA and UDubs. Is there any doubt about which university controls the B1G?
Will that playoff ābirthā be a hard labor or a C section? Asking for a friend.calling it 8-4, maybe 9-3, no playoff birth
Agreedā¦..Woodpeckers always been a quality posterNo, I didn't mean that you need to apologize. I really like your sense of humor; you and the Latte & Scones Bob (who's a comedic genius IMO) keep this Board light and interesting.
I'm not in your 2 guys' league, and I let my complete disdain and contempt for Michigan get the better of me.
Notes:
--Just one guy's .02 after midnight, so nobody get too riled up.
--Too much USC in prime time
--Not enough PSU in prime time
--Tried to keep West Coast teams away from noon EST starts
--OSU has a bad, very bad OOC in USM, Western Mich and Marshall
--CBS and NBC may get some first picks in some weeks. CBS and NBC have roughly the same B1G inventory, roughly 14-16 games each fall. Fox has 24-40 IIRC. I didn't want to guess on BTN or FS1/FS2.
--Still assuming each team must make one appearance on BTN
--Only one Fri game announced (Iowa-Nebby Black Friday), but I think PSU-Twerps or PSU-Wisky may be possible Friday games.
Curious about your take on a few things:1. West Coast teams won't be playing at noon ET at home, but will appear in that time slot when on the road.
2. BTN requires each team to appear twice, one of which has to be a conference game
3. There will be a bunch of Friday games on FOX or FS1 (and potentially BTN) which we'll learn about later. IIRC, at least 9 games per the new modification that was made with Oregon/Washington joining
4. There's also supposed to be a game Labor Day Sunday on NBC but man... the schedule week 1 is brutal so I wonder if they will just forgo that
5. Black Friday is supposed to have 2 games (one on CBS, one on NBC). I've heard that Oregon/Washington is likely the second one along with Iowa/Nebraska - would fit since both of those teams have a bye week the weekend before.
