It really is incredible the disparity in the U.S. between our Freestyle and Greco programs. Even without fielding a Women's team, for combined Greco/Freestyle results, Iran outscored team USA 325-152 (235 if our Women's team is included). Japan's total team score for all three styles was 310 (148 without the women) , Russia was 263 (168 without the women) and Azerbaijan was 172 with no women's team, thus making team USA only the fourth-best team when combining Men's Freestyle and Greco and fifth-best if all three styles are combined.
For those who aren't particularly fans of Greco and might even like to see it eliminated, the U.S. struggles in Greco along with the fact that most of the Greco powerhouses are in Eastern Europe or Asia pretty much assures that UWW and the Olympics will keep Greco participation as it is now.
I can confirm that Kyle Dake is still part of the NLWC. He was helping to run a Wrestling practice that I was at earlier in the month. Very nice guy.

I believe you are correct, and that JB met the same criteria that Nomad set, and obtained gold at Worlds the 1st year after college. He won NCAAs in 2011, and also won gold at Worlds that year.
