Good looking car. Used to love Bimmers but there’s are so many models now I can’t keep up. Used to be 3, 5, 7 and 8. They’re just not as exciting to me as they used to be (the grill just keeps getting bigger). I thought I liked the first generation of 6’s until a friend pointed out the massive rear end. What other options are in the price range? The black looks slick - I like the blue too.
I have a 2017 530ix and I agree the grills sre starting to look stupid big - keeping up with Lexus? I hate them.

No offense to all you guys trying to look like 20 year olds but I’m sticking with this one. It still looks as beautiful as the day I bought it. It’s nearly 6 years old and I’m still shy of 40k miles on it. It has the nicest interior of any car I’ve owned.

Simple answer: if you like it, buy it. Who gives a sh#* what anybody else thinks. I’m on my 6th BMW — all different models — and I’ve loved every single one. I guess that makes me a dbag x 6, which I’m good with.
You're just insecure and trying to hide it with pretension. All in all, it's not a really over-the-top show of douchebaggery. It's not like you're a Porsche owner ... if you own a Porsche, you can't get your uno-incher up and you beat children and puppies to take out your frustrations. It's science.

But, you're entirely correct ... worse than owning one of these overcompensating vehicles ... much worse, actually ... is trying to see what other people think about it before you buy it (or to determine if you will buy it at all). If you're doing it to impress others, you have other, more serious issues to worry about than a car.

Buy what you like. And don't worry about what others think.

Unless it's a Porsche.

If I were completely honest with myself, I probably realized I was never going to win those contests and focused on where I had an advantage, brains (or more accurately brains AND diligence to use it) and athleticism.
I have one of those
