I do like it. I cant stand the trending aesthetic of having a grill from hood to ground effects that BMW and others (especially Toyota) are doing. I like to have the appearance of a horizontal bumper in modern cars.

Bet the DeLorean runs like it’s on rails.
Forgetting for a moment the cost ($62k) the horsepower (530 crank) and the dbag marquee factor (BMW), do you like or hate the looks of this car? My car forum bros all over are very divided.
thx the rick

Simple answer: if you like it, buy it. Who gives a sh#* what anybody else thinks. I’m on my 6th BMW — all different models — and I’ve loved every single one. I guess that makes me a dbag x 6, which I’m good with.

All true but it’s been a long time since a car I’m interested has garnered so many strong opinions. I dig it the most so does Jane go figure

I got the 50th Anniversary M roundels on my '23. Didn't rock the Isle of Man Green though. Had to get it in Mennonite Metallic Black. Are they still offering those 50th Anniv. items ?

Good looking car. Used to love Bimmers but there’s are so many models now I can’t keep up. Used to be 3, 5, 7 and 8. They’re just not as exciting to me as they used to be (the grill just keeps getting bigger). I thought I liked the first generation of 6’s until a friend pointed out the massive rear end. What other options are in the price range? The black looks slick - I like the blue too.

M8 competition coupe. Interestingly they offered almost any color BMW ever produced for only a “minimal “ upcharge for the 50 th M anniversary . The whole palette of colors extends beyond what’s in the link . The powder blue LaK likes is an M2 model.

Bottom line for me is this: if you derive pleasure from how much someone else likes the way it looks or how fast someone else can drive it, then watch the videos, and buy the car they tell you to.

Or drive it, and buy the one that speaks to you. For me that means, at a minimum, it has three pedals. Find that same thing for you.

I used to feel the same way about doing my own shifting- I get it.

But even F1 cars have paddle shifters today- and no matter how good we think we are, we can't shift as fast as today's automatics can.

Paddles are fun. Shifting with a metal gate and hearing that click as you try and execute perfection is orgasmic.

Biggest stereos, biggest TVs, biggest boobs, hottest cars never did it for me. I guess I never got the full set of man genes.

Oddly enough, for years I’d accept most challenges once somebody stepped away from those. 🤷‍♂️

Same. I just don’t get it.

If I were completely honest with myself, I probably realized I was never going to win those contests and focused on where I had an advantage, brains (or more accurately brains AND diligence to use it) and athleticism.
