B1G 2024-2025 schedule model and opponents will be announced tomorrow

Nope, it's been announced that we don't have one.
I'm torn. I'd like to keep playing OSU but if they would have given us Rutgers or UMD I'd rather not have one.
I think it's great. We'll rotate through other conference teams more often.
I think most would agree that the top 4 toughest opponents in the B1G starting next year will be OSU, UM, PSU, and USC. Here's how the new schedule stacks up against the big 4 opponents. PSU got a nice advantage in 2024 and is at a disadvantage in 2025.
Nobody plays all 4 in a single season.
Nobody gets more than 2 on the road.
PSU is one of three teams with zero on the road in 2024, and is the only top 4 team with that advantage.
PSU is one of four teams with two on the road in 2025, and is the only top 4 team with that disadvantage.

UM has the same situation as PSU, but with the years flipped.
Indiana received a gift in 2024. There are only 2 instances of a team having only 1 tier 1 opponent, and Indiana gets theirs at home.
MSU drew the short straw, they are the only team playing 3 tier 1 opponents in both seasons.

It occurred to me with the elimination of divisions the conference championship will be the two teams with the best record? What is the tie breaker?

I think that’s the 1 team most Penn Staters would be happy to put on the list of never playing again. It’s one of the worst fan bases to deal with and that’s saying a lot considering we deal with Rutgers and Pitt.We will give you Ioaw...

Remains to be seen. I'd think head to head, win/losses against common opponents, cumulate record of opponents will factor in. This is what the Big 12 does: link
I think this could be good news. We're Unrivaled. I don't want a rivalry. I hate rivalries. With us it's all child rape this and that. I don't want any relationship with any of these **** big ten teams and fanbases. And unless it's osu we're going to be the top of any rivalry and I hate that. I hated seeing pitt clinging to our coattails and making hay off insulting us.

The Big Ten will introduce a football schedule model in 2024 that includes 11 protected matchups across the conference, eliminates divisions and targets a rotation as the league expands to 16 members with USC and UCLA.

So if no protected rival for PSU, how will this work out with the last week of the season?
Will the B1G allow USC to continue their odd ND scheduling, which in essence would force another B1G team to schedule a last game OOC game every other year?
It is possible that Sparty may end up continuing unless another rivalry (RU-MD?) game isn’t a season ender.

I’m happy. It would have been RU/Md. it wasn’t going to be OSU/Um/MSU as they would want to force 2 top tier annual on anyone.
