Kendall Rogers says Baylor is hiring Mitch Thompson, head coach of McLennan Community College-- where he led them to a NJCAA D1 title in 2021.

Thompson used to be a grad assistant & assistant coach at State before being an assistant at Baylor when Steve Smith was coach (link).

Yes. Mitch was GA at MSU and followed Steve Smith to Baylor. Was with Smith as an assistant the entire tenure, I believe.
