My take: to make Kim and Jimmy talk. Also, it is his plan at the moment to kill them both after they talk. Why leave them alive, actually?I can't wait to hear why Lalo killed Howard. He could have easily waited until Howard left before talking to his lawyer. Seems to be an uncharacteristic risky move.
I think it was just bad luck for Howard that he was there. Lalo probably couldn't let him go once he made his entrance and then used the killing to put the fear of God into Jimmy and Kim. They will surely fess up at this point.I can't wait to hear why Lalo killed Howard. He could have easily waited until Howard left before talking to his lawyer. Another, simpler, take: Howard would have recognized Lalo.I think it was just bad luck for Howard that he was there. Lalo probably couldn't let him go once he made his entrance and then used the killing to put the fear of God into Jimmy and Kim. They will surely fess up at this point.
That does not answer the question as to why Lalo revealed himself while Howard was there. Howard was clearly on his way out.Another, simpler, take: Howard would have recognized Lalo.
Easiest way to respond to this: when Lalo walked in he had no intention of leaving anyone in that apartment alive. That does not answer the question as to why Lalo revealed himself while Howard was there. Howard was clearly on his way out.

What Jim said here and before. Assuming Lalo knows Howard is there before he enters (small chance it was accidental), he knows that killing him in front of Kim and Jimmy will give him the upper hand for their upcoming conversation.Easiest way to respond to this: when Lalo walked in he had no intention of leaving anyone in that apartment alive.
That guy’s dead. The reason people think Lalo is dead is because they found this poor look-alike dude’s body.
I have to think that Lalo is dead in BB. My reason for saying this is that Gus tells Hector that he is the last Salamanca left alive. This could be the reason Saul is talking about Lalo as though he’s alive in BB as well. After what just happened, will Saul ever believe Lalo is actually dead again, regardless of who tells him that he is?
So I don’t think Saul saying that in BB necessarily means Lalo survives.
yeah, Howard's wife will probably be bugging the cops if he just disappears. Some casting news.
1. We’re not done with Howard’s wife. Remember that Howard’s last words to her were that he was handling the Jimmy McGill situation.
2. Walt and Jesse show up in Episode 6.10. I could be wrong, but one would think that this could only happen with the passing of a certain length of time from where we’ve left off, two years, I’d say. I’ll bet you anything that we see Tuco out of jail.
Not sure. Kim’s mom? A Sandpiper client? Howard’s mom? Someone in Gene’s storyline? Is this simply a cameo or something more substantial?
I would be surprised if it were simply a cameo. This wouldn’t be like G&G.Not sure. Kim’s mom? A Sandpiper client? Howard’s mom? Someone in Gene’s storyline?
Alright, here’s a thought: the actor Robert Forster has passed, he played Ed the Cleaner. Suppose that Carol Burnett is Marion the Cleaner in this timeline, pre Ed? They would be wild. I would think there is zero chance she doesn’t play some kind of shady character, the opportunity here is just too great.I would be surprised if it were simply a cameo. This wouldn’t be like G&G.
Remember that at the moment Dr. Caldera the vet is looking to sell the little black book with the Vacuum Cleaner Repair business card. It’s seen in Saul’s house when the Feds were cleaning it out. Someone will be calling the number on that card, and it’s going to be a huge plot line. Can’t wait.Alright, here’s a thought: the actor Robert Forster has passed, he played Ed the Cleaner. You mean Jeff, the cab driver who made Gene? I won’t rule anything out. FWIW, Jeff has no backstory from BB, unlike, for example, Spooge.Hmm, what if the guy visiting Gene in Nebraska is actually an undercover cop?
A “Kim used Jeff to find Gene” subplot? They went out of their way to highlight the air freshener.Found something interesting and could be a connection to Kim in the Gene universe.
Air freshener in Jeff’s cab when he discovers Saul
Air freshener Kim holds up in her court case of client arrested due to obstructed vision due to air freshener with Cliff watching the hearing
Connection? Hmmmm
It seems intuitive that viewership decreases season-to-season. Nobody begins in the middle. Between attrition and the natural skewing of partial-series viewership toward earlier seasons, I would expect each succeeding season to have fewer. It is crazy to me that viewership has steadily decreased season over season despite the wide availability of AMC... this show will eventually be held up as one of the 5 greatest dramas of all time, up there with BB, The Wire and The Sopranos.

That was the trend for The Wire, as well. Note to myself: This seems to be a good place to do a little research on trends for BB, Ozark, The Wire, Deadwood, Justified, won’t take more than a few minutes once I get to it.It seems intuitive that viewership decreases season-to-season. I expect BB may have a trend of increasing viewership. IIRC, that show started slowly but built through word of mouth to end strongly with regard to viewership. I actually own an Albuquerque Isotopes baseball cap and the do have this shirt for sale on their site, Heisenberg rules!A “Kim used Jeff to find Gene” subplot? They went out of their way to highlight the air freshener.
