Need two of them for a foursome to go golfing. Or even to dinner. Lol

Then it’s like a pickup truck... except it‘s incredibly reliable, returns 40+ mpg. And, be it below or above the speed-limit - it’s a hoot to drive through the twisties and bring to a stop , and park!

meanwhile, today we have goateed mouthbreathers with wraparound faux Oakleys driving solo to Wegmans to get some White Claws in their dopey lifted $70k Tahoes and SuperDoodys

I like lifted trucks- they make it easier to spot morons from a distance.

I agree!

It was the best car I ever owned, although I'm expecting that the new Camry XSE hybrid may give it it run for it's money........

I bought a base model 1988 5-spd Integra in August of 1992, on the Saturday th Dream Team was to play their first exibition game at I believe 2 pm or 4 pm. I made a take it or leave it offer 2 hrs before the start of the game at a dealer 10 minutes from home and they told me they'd do the deal if I took it that day. My response was that they better get with it as I planned to be home in 2 hrs. Traded in my rusty 1980 VW Scirocco.

The red Integra has 26k miles on it and drove like a dream. High reving, fun to drive, and got 30+ mpg no matter how hard I drove it. Only put front brakes on it, some exhaust repairs/replacements and tires on it the 10 years owned it. Put 200k on it in 10 years. Got $500 for it when I got rid of it with 226k on it in 2002, but it was probably 200 lbs lighter then due to the rust that ate it away. I had taken my sons to the B/W game that spring in it and my wife wasn't happy with me for taking the Integra.

As it got rusty and eventually water would come in through the back of the wheel wells (I eventually found out). One day on the way home from work during a rain storm the water was building up in the passenger side rear floor. Going down a hill that water made it's way under the passenger front seat and the car stopped. The computer module I found out was located on the floor under that seat. Had it towed to my local shop and my guy was trying to find a used replacement computer module. A few days went by, I stopped by to talk to him, and decided to try and start it. It had dried out and started up and ran fine. I took the back seats out, saw the rust, and patched it with some roofing compound and then drove it for a few months before bying my wife a new car and then driving her 1989 Honda Accord and sadly getting rid of the Integra.

I always missed driving the Integra and about 10 years ago bought a 5 speed 2002 RSX from it's original owner and now only drive it on nice days. We are retired and when we take delivery of the Camry I'll be looking for a 2007-2009 red GT500 which will probably prompt me to sell one of our other cars. I'll miss the RSX if I do sell it as it's as fun to drive as the Integra was.........
The reason I got rid of mine was also that it started rusting out and I wanted to trade it before it devalued too much. Also, had started a family and wanted something bigger and nicer so I traded it for a 3.2TL.

Also a great car but a very different personality.

BTW the Integra ran as well the day I traded it as it did the day I picked up the keys. And the Arctic white paint was soooo white it always looked clean.

I'd love to to drive the new one but I'd prolly embarrass myself as I haven't driven a stick in years.
