Well, I am glad I was wrong. I wasn't able to watch very much of the game. It was too stressful. Plus, every time I started watching we turn the ball over or went through and out or did something stupid

That was an old fashioned street fight, they brought a knife , and Sellers is a freaking A1 Abrams Tank! Ugly, ugly game. Both defenses were totally gased by the end. We beat a good team, no doubt about that. But , as we have done lately, we took over the 4th quarter. As average as our defense played, they made stops when we needed it. Going to the QB power off tackle just wore them out. Taters were boys trying to tackle a grown a$$ man. Sellers is just unbelievable, he’s just totally unbelievable.

I wanted us to take the 3 there so it worked out.

Get the ball back. Let Sellers go win the game.
Same here Bubba, same here...... I'll never understand the thinking behind going for it only down 7 late in the game...... EVEN IF you tie it up.... you STILL need a FG to win it..... Just don't understand. As soon as the flag come out, I yelled "GOOD"

Forced us to do the right thing all along....

Gotta always take the points - never know what the game holds

LaNorris is a Gamecock - he’s not like these other guys - he’s loyal - I worry about the kid from DC
Be careful. Different age in CFB. Different generation of kids. We better be ready to get in a bidding war and not count on “loyalty.” He himself said he didn’t watch games growing up. May not have as deep of ties as you may like.

First thing: the main goal was accomplished and an outstanding - almost great - regular season has been achieved.

Second thing: it wasn't our cleanest game, but the team didn't allow its miscues to doom us. Sellers didn't allow it. With the mistakes we made against a good team on the road, we weren't supposed to win that game.

Third thing: right there is what happens when a coach abandons good strategy in order to get greedy. If you're playing at home and coming from behind, you make sure you get the game to overtime. Thankfully, this time it was the OTHER coach who went stupid.

Fourth thing: in front of our very eyes, Sellers has become a heroic leader, a man who can take a team on his back and lead it to victory despite considerable adversity.

It's a wonderful day - an extension of Thanksgiving.

That's all for now.

I’m hearing that the Sellers family loves USC and Columbia, and I’m sure the NIL team will bring a sack of cash to make them even more warm and fuzzy

I hope.

On a side note, I already loved the kid, but how about him woofing at the fans after the TD run? From a guy who almost never shows emotion, I loved seeing the fire, especially against the Tigs.

My take is we really didn't play that well. We had too many turnovers and costly penalties. LaNorris put this team on his back and simply refused to lose. No matter what happens with the playoff committee, we are a really good team and achieved way more than anyone (including me) thought we would. Who knows what will happen next year with the portal and NIL. All I know is we're 9 and 3. The way college football is evolving we will have a different group next year. All of these college coaches are going to have to earn these exorbitant salaries they are getting. The days of building a dynasty by recruiting four or five star high school players might be over.
Anyway, I am thrilled with our season and truly hope we can make the right moves to be this good in 2025.

They are definitely over until and unless reforms are enacted. Cherish the moment.

Come on, Dabo! Show a little class. I am sure they missed some calls, but the reviews were correct. That’s the whole point of video reviews.
