"And finally, yet another teammate of the State committ spoke up with "I know why they told XXXX that - if he came & saw this place (the IPF), no way is he going to State - and that (he gesters with a swath of one arm around the IPF) is what they (State) are afraid of. Players of both teams seemed to be in total agreement. "

If this is what was said, I can about guarantee you the player that said that was being sarcastic and making fun of Ole Miss's love for their IPF.

Croom's handle with recruits has been (since the Kenny Ashley deal) "If you're committed to us, then we're committed to you...If you're looking around, then so are we."

There is nothing earth shattering about that part of this alleged conversation. The IPF part is damn funny. The origin of the conversation is my favorite though. If true, you're talking about a conversation between a couple of high school kids that was overheard at a footaball camp. I guessed this "man in the shadows" missed the one about Dennis Thames and Clayton Moore getting hand-jobs in The Library patio bar...or "how tight it was" when one of the out-of-state prospects showed everyone his breakdance moves. Seriously...you're talking about what some 3rd party overheard from a group of HIGH SCHOOL KIDS.

I've been in State's multiple times....been in Mississippi's once...full tour...stem to stern. The Ole Miss facility is dramatically nicer than State's...not even close...not even in the same universe. It's a simple fact.

...and not one damn thing about that is going to stop Croom from dominanting Houston Nutt's punk *** just like he is now. Croom's dominating the state of MS in recruiting and the Rebs can't do one +%$+%%$ thing about it. Keep crowing about the IPF bitches while I continue to laugh my *** off.

A more recent post from the Spirit (as told by one of your campers):

<h4>Interesting quote.... </h4> _________________________________________________ <div class="messagebody"> <span>"They told me that if I commit, they do not want me taking any other visits."

Thought we were not taking that approach...
</span> </div>

and let me spell it out for you since you're so !+!*$!% dense: Your wonderful IPF hasn't done jack **** to improve football team, and if you think a giant metal building with fake grass inside is going to somehow change a kid's mind (the exact point of the original post) then you're dumber than I thought you were. But I don't think you're that dumb, I think the purpose of your original post was stir up **** and try to bring Croom down a couple notches.

Diamond, it sounds like you have a little man crush on these recruits. And are you honestly comparing Swayze to Dudy? It must be nice living in Never Never land, maybe I can visit when I need a break from reality.

I said that in the past it was obvious that Dudy was better than Swayze. It won't be anymore. It's going to be a brand new facility. Dudy will always have great atmosphere when state is good. I'm not saying they won't. But the physical structure at OM will be better. There's no really arguing that.</p>

is all this bantering going back and forth and Yancy writes an article with camper quotes who says the same damn thing that the genius Reb is spewing venom at Croom about.

Diamond reb...let the spinning begin. I'm all ears to your response. <a href="http://mississippi.scout.com/2/772644.html">

</p>Yes, because renovating a facility makes it brand new. And I would also be willing to bet that there will be a lot of college baseball experts that would argue that Dudy-Noble is still better after your renovations. Has Ole Miss even raised the money for their new stadium, uh, renovations?

And you accuse us of being homers. Damn.

That Ole Miss doesn't own that facility. It's owned by the City of Oxford because the Ole Miss fans weren't willing to pay enough money to build a decent stadium and they had to raise cash through taxes.</p>

This has been fun though. Most of the Ole Miss fans who post here are intelligent and pretty cool so I'm glad we have at least one guy here to remind us what <17>ing idiots they really are.
