Does Oklahoma miss Lebby?

This isn't meant as a defense of our coach as I think he needs to do a better job with the defense, but looking at the results from OK, kinda makes you wonder.

They miss several things, the top two being being Gabriel and Lebby but also their top 5 receivers are all hurt and their “all in” NIL transfer portal offensive line blows.

They can’t score. Their TD in the second half was the first time they had scored in I think 10 or 11 quarters.

I’ve read their message board some this year, and a lot seem to blame him for their current state (but they also blame their head coach and current OC). They aren’t wishing he was back and are wanting something from 10 years ago instead. But they also seek completely insane. The Briles thing really made a lot mad

By the way their offensive coordinator is Seth Littrell, the former North Texas coach who many on here wanted Arnett to hire as OC to carry on the “Air Raid”.

They thought he sucked even when they were putting up 40+ and a billion yards a game. They aren't a very objective fan base.

I think they do some. But they miss their QB and their weaker conference more.
The move to the sec was a huge risk for Oklahoma. Guess staying in a collapsing big 12 would have been a bigger risk maybe as they will at least get paid to be in the SEC. But I’m not sure why they won’t be basically USCe in football going forward.

Ou has a problem they have had for a while. OU is soft. They rely too much on finesse. That's one of my worry's with lebby being from there.

Riley is doing the same to usc. All about flashy offense but can't stop anyone when it matters and can't get in the endzone when the other side is tougher

Maybe they thought it was easy to beat Saban/Alabama because they had Heupel. Until they fired him.
No they talked a lot of **** after at the top of the big 12 for so long even without stoops or Riley. I think they truly thought they would dominate. Got too used to putting up big scores against nobody.

I just wanted an opportunity to point out they fired Heupel

Saban said as much Saturday morning. Said Texas was built for the SEC & Oklahoma wasn’t.

USC has a problem. They gave Riley a 10-year fully guaranteed contract. He’s 11-11 in last 22 games & losing to mid level Big 10 teams. They’ve got to fire him. But it will be expensive.

Yeah that's tough to do now that they won't let movie stars bribe their kids way on to teams of course I never saw an issue if a rich person wants to donate a lot of money to a team if their kids got on it. I'm pretty sure we've done that in basketball and other sports

Yeah, they were. They are maybe the most insane fan base in the SEC, which is saying something
